keeping it simple: my Fall mantel

DSC_0338 (2)

this was last year’s mantel..

rich autumn colors, oil painting, old clay pots, dried leaves, berry garland & miniature pumpkins…

and this year’s mantel…

vintage books, the colors of parchment and creamy white candlesticks, straw, muslin, pops of orange, & a rustic gray frame.

very simple.

How about you? What mood are you in this year?

Such a pretty home!
Thanks so much for sharing it.
I love the gray mirror you added above the mantle this year. Opens up the room and especially love how it reflects the candle light and romantic moods in the room.

So lovely!
Thanks for sharing at Favorites on the First!

Please come back again next month. :)

Hi Leslie, I just found your blog through the Farmhouse Porch and your newest follower. Your mantle is lovely and calming. I adore your mirror--is that antique? I've been trying to find one simple like this! Your fireplace is similar to mine with the large white and the brick with the steep. Love to hear your ideas on decorating these! Take care, Kris
