Did I mention that we came up with a new tradition?

This is a photo of our recent group Valentine’s dinner table.…there were four couples and this year the wives cooked the dinner.

Next year the guys are the chefs.

Each cook brought a bottle of wine and a home cooked dish.

Our menu included a variety of yummy appetizers, Chicken Cordon Bleu, Risotto, Roasted Asparagus…

…and a great salad. I made the Barefoot Contessa’s Apple and Pear Crisp for dessert.

The guys each received Valentine ties when they walked in the door….
