keeping it simple: my Fall mantel

this was last year’s mantel..

rich autumn colors, oil painting, old clay pots, dried leaves, berry garland & miniature pumpkins…

and this year’s mantel…

vintage books, the colors of parchment and creamy white candlesticks, straw, muslin, pops of orange, & a rustic gray frame.

very simple.

    Hi Leslie, I just found your blog through the Farmhouse Porch and your newest follower. Your mantle is lovely and calming. I adore your mirror--is that antique? I've been trying to find one simple like this! Your fireplace is similar to mine with the large white and the brick with the steep. Love to hear your ideas on decorating these! Take care, Kris
