Are you still looking for a Fall wreath for your front door?
This is how I decorated my dining room last year and I actually have a pretty wreath hanging in the window. Wreaths can add a finishing touch to a room and they’re not hard to make.
Mine was a wreath from Michaels Crafts Store that I touched up. You can do this with a wreath you already have, just add a few miniature pumpkins and berries, change the ribbon and voila! It’s cheaper than buying a new one, and you’ve added your own personality.
Or, you can make your own arrangement like this one I made with a thrift store basket. You can click HERE to see how I did this wreath. It now hangs proudly at my Mom’s house which makes me happy plus, it also gives me an excuse to make another one…want to join me?
Today I thought I’d share a few unique wreaths that look fairly easy to do if you’re in the mood for something crafty. And I guarantee, if I can make a wreath, you can do it. Really.
Here’s one that’s very simple. You need ribbon, artificial flowers and a little chalk board from the Crafts Store. And of course, your glue gun. See what I mean? E-A-S-Y.
This one might impress your neighbors, but if you look closely the items that make it stand out are common ones.
- Feathers
- Artificial pumpkins that you can spray paint.
- Artificial grass that can be cut and divided.
- A few fake grapes, berries and Spanish moss.
This wreath is made with bags of green moss, miniature pumpkins and ribbon…
This one takes a little more time, but it’s not hard to make you just need lots of ornaments!
You can watch Ashley from the Domestic Fashionista give directions for her version of an ornament wreath by clicking HERE.
Are you one of the lucky people that has a magnolia tree on your property? (if so, I'm so jealous) Because here’s a classic looking wreath that’s perfect for you. You take magnolia leaves that you’ve spray painted gold, mixed in with dried leaves and wire or hot glue these to a basic wreath.
Click HERE to see directions for a pine cone wreath you can embellish by adding beautiful satin ribbon and pine cones of various sizes.
Here we have artificial fall leaves and gourds tucked and wired to a twig wreath. With a pretty ribbon tied simply on top.

Well, I hope I gave you some ideas to consider.

The most important thing to remember is to enjoy the act of creating. There’s no perfect wreath you’re tying to achieve, it will be special because you took time and put your efforts into it; that’s what makes it beautiful.
I hope you enjoyed your visit today. Click HERE to see more wreaths. And don’t forget to click on the Followers button, I love and appreciate your company!
